The Minister of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Junta de Andalucía, María del Carmen Castillo, will be number 2 on the PP list for Almería for the regional elections on May 17, headed by the president of the provincial PP and Minister of Agriculture, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco.

The candidacy maintains the continuity of the past legislature, with the presence of Pablo Venzal, Julia Ibáñez, Manuel Guzmán, Ángeles Martínez and Juan José Salvador. The list prioritizes the experience of the current councilors in the Andalusian Government, while Castillo will run for the Andalusian Parliament for the first time with the PP after his incorporation into the Executive in July 2024.

In the detail of the list, Venzal occupies position number 3, while Julia Ibáñez and Manuel Guzmán follow in the successive positions. Ángeles Martínez is situated at number 6, ahead of Juan José Salvador, who will try to maintain the seat obtained by the PP in 2022.

The list continues with Mónica Morales in eighth place, followed by Diego Martínez in ninth. Closing the candidacy are Alba Caballero, Joaquín Navío and María Gracia Alarcón, while the alternates will be Luis Manuel Martínez, Yolanda Carmona, Juan Domingo Navarro and María del Carmen García.

The Autonomous Electoral Committee of the PP of Andalusia has approved to submit this candidacy to the National Electoral Committee, along with the lists of the other provinces, to compete in the elections of 17M.
