The provincial executive of the PSOE has approved the candidacy for the autonomous elections of May 17 in Granada, headed by Olga Manzano, Andalusian parliamentarian and secretary of Equality of the party.

The number 2 on the list is Paco Cuenca, provincial deputy and spokesperson for the Andalusian PSOE, while María Ángeles Prieto, also an Andalusian parliamentarian, holds the number 3 position. Manzano's election seeks to strengthen female representation in starting positions, while maintaining territorial balance within the party.

The proposal was drafted after meetings with local groups and was approved by acclamation in the provincial leadership. The 2022 list was headed by Noel López, who is out on this occasion; Olga Manzano then moved up to number 2, and Mari Ángeles Prieto occupied position 3, repeating now in that position.

In the previous elections, the distribution of seats in Granada was six for the PP, four for the PSOE, two for Vox and one for Por Andalucía, marking the basis on which the socialists seek to increase their representation in the province.
