The socialist candidate for the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía and former Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, has denounced this Monday that the Popular Party is taking advantage of her summons to the investigation commission on SEPI in the Senate with the intention of "removing her" from the Andalusian electoral campaign for "electoral interests".
"I come to this commission and you know the intention that the People's Party brings," Montero stated to the media before accessing the parliamentary session.
The PSOE leader has insisted that the purpose of her appearing "is none other than to remove her from the Andalusian campaign", and has reproached the 'popular' party for trying to "draw a picture that does not correspond to reality".
Along those lines, he has stressed that, in his opinion, this maneuver obeys "solely and exclusively the electoral interests they have in Andalusia".
