A total of 302,005 Andalusians registered as residents abroad, spread across 157 countries on the five continents, are called to exercise their right to vote in the regional elections on Sunday, May 17, according to data provided by the Electoral Census Office and consulted by Europa Press.

Argentina, with 68,782 registered people, is the country that gathers the largest number of Andalusian electors with the right to participate in the 17M event, followed by France, with 41,512, and Germany, with 32,847. Behind them are other Ibero-American countries such as Brazil, with 28,761 electors, and European countries such as the United Kingdom, which adds 19,902 Andalusians with the right to vote.

Also noteworthy are the communities of Andalusians in the United States, where 15,885 voters are counted; Switzerland, with 13,523; Belgium, with 10,204; Mexico, with 7,121; Netherlands, with 5,269; Cuba, with 4,686; Chile, with 3,846; Venezuela, with 3,771; Australia, with 3,335; Italy, with 3,308; Morocco, with 2,806; Uruguay, with 2,700; Andorra, with 2,559; Colombia, with 2,419; and Ecuador, with 2,371.

At the other extreme are 20 countries in which only one resident Andalusian voter is registered with the right to participate in the regional elections of May 17. These are Armenia, Moldova, Montenegro, Burkina Faso, Malawi, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, Togo, Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.

By provinces, Málaga is the one that gathers the largest number of Andalusians residing abroad with the right to vote, with 70,764 registered. Next are Granada, with 59,523; Almería, with 50,829; Sevilla, with 42,556; Cádiz, with 34,223; Córdoba, with 20,459; Jaén, with 14,580; and Huelva, with 9,071 voters registered outside of Spain.
