The decision of the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, to dissolve the regional Parliament and call elections has left in suspense the laws of Sustainable Tourism and of Advancement of Science, Technology and Innovation for Andalusia, which were called to receive the green light this same week in the Plenary Session of the Parliament.

The dissolution of the Chamber will occur just on the eve of the Plenary Session set last week by the Board of Spokespersons, on whose agenda also appeared the final debate of two other bills: the one related to the creation of the Professional Association of Private Detectives of Andalusia and the one for the creation of the Official Association of Pedagogy and Psychopedagogy of Andalusia.

Also, for this Wednesday, the validation of two decree-laws had been scheduled. The first, on urgent administrative and fiscal measures to implement inter-regional hunting and fishing licenses in continental waters and for the promotion of hunting activity in Andalusia. The second, focused on the modification of the Public Function of Andalusia and other norms regarding public employment in order to guarantee the reinforcement of essential public services after meteorological phenomena.

The one that was going to be the last Plenary Session of the legislature also contemplated the election of Ana María Vielba as new director of the Council of Transparency and Data Protection of Andalusia, in replacement of Jesús Jiménez.
