The Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas, has reported almost 72,270 deaths due to Israeli bombings on the Palestinian enclave since the start of the Gaza war in October 2023, after registering in the last 24 hours one new death and 19 injured people.
Since Israeli military operations resumed after the failure of the temporary ceasefire that concluded in October of last year, the Ministry of Health has counted 692 fatalities and 1,895 injured.
According to the report released this Saturday by the Gazan health authorities, the total number of deceased and identified to date stands at 72,268, while the number of confirmed injured reaches 171,995 people.
