The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has intensified this Monday his international rhetoric by hinting at possible military actions against Cuba once the conflict in the Middle East concludes in which Washington participates alongside Israel against Iran.
During an intervention at the White House, Trump again framed the struggle with Tehran in terms of direct confrontation and maximum pressure, while opening the door to a potential expansion of the American strategic focus in the region.
“Perhaps we will go through Cuba after we finish with this,” affirmed the president, in reference to the ongoing war against Iran.
