The judge investigating the 'Begoña Gómez case' has decided to prosecute Begoña Gómez, wife of the Prime Minister, for alleged crimes of embezzlement, influence peddling, business corruption, and misappropriation, leaving out that of professional intrusion.

In an order to which Europa Press has had access, the judge grants a period of five days to all appearing parties so that they "urge what they deem appropriate regarding the opening of the oral trial, formulating the corresponding provisional conclusions brief".

Judge Peinado agrees to dismiss the investigation for a possible crime of professional intrusion "as there is only a weak indication, there being no multiple and solid indications".

The instructor, who refuses to extend the instruction period, also rejects incorporating into the procedure Gómez's work history or the update of Cristina Álvarez's remunerations, her advisor in the Palacio de la Moncloa. He also prosecutes Álvarez, as well as the businessman Juan Carlos Barrabés, the other two investigated in this case.
