Andalusian self-employed and businesses can now apply for the aid to repair the damages caused by the storms that hit the region at the beginning of the year. The aid, which ranges between 5,000 and 150,000 euros, is available for those affected by the effects of the adverse weather conditions, including damages to municipal infrastructures, agricultural exploitations, personal belongings, and the fishing sector.

The Government delegate in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, highlighted the speed and effectiveness of the Executive in activating this package of measures, which exceeds 7.200 million euros, to respond to those affected. According to Fernández, these aids are designed to alleviate the serious damages and guarantee an economic and social recovery in the most affected municipalities.

The amounts vary according to the type of beneficiary: the self-employed and small businesses will receive between 5,000 and 10,000 euros, while large companies may opt for higher amounts, up to 150,000 euros, depending on their billing.

Application deadline until June 30

Those affected have until June 30 to submit their applications, which can be done through the Tax Agency's electronic headquarters or by going to any of the 15 comprehensive service offices deployed in the affected localities. In addition, management is also possible in the departments enabled in the eight government sub-delegations.

Since the opening of the first office in Grazalema (Cádiz) last February 26, more than 8,700 services have been registered to provide information, advice, and processing to those affected.

Fernández concluded by stating that the administration's responsibility is "to respond to the citizenry" and to launch a great protective shield to support the largest possible number of people in their recovery.
