The Government and SEPI decided to be absent from the appearances scheduled for this Tuesday by the Joint Commission (Congress-Senate) for National Security.

This commission that integrates deputies and senators had summoned the director of the Government's Economic Office, Manuel de la Rocha, and the president of SEPI, Belén Gualda, to account for the change at Indra.

The appearances had been scheduled so that both would give explanations for the change in the management of Indra, following the resignation of Ángel Escribano as president of this company, majority-owned by the State.

According to the president of the Commission, the 'popular' Edurne Uriarte, the Secretariat of State for Relations with the Courts announced the absence of both last week.

The appearances were approved two weeks ago, offering last Tuesday the 21st or this Tuesday the 28th. Neither of the dates were accepted.
