The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has defended this Saturday that the region remains "indomitable in the face of terror" despite the "yoke" that, in her opinion, is imposed by a central Government whose objective is to "dismember" Spain and "isolate" the country from its historical allies.

In the closing of the II Conference between PP districts of Madrid, the regional leader has denounced that "Madrid, like all of Spain, has to endure bureaucracy and taxes beyond what is fair and necessary, as well as a wide range of state regulations, sectarian laws that do not let us grow yet. What would Madrid be like if we didn't have the yoke of the Government on top of us?".

In this same forum, the also president of the PP of Madrid has questioned the legitimacy of the Executive to set the course of citizens' daily lives, asking herself who the Government of the nation is to tell them "how to live, when to open businesses, and how many properties to have". Faced with this situation, she has underlined that "we must restart Spain and we must start from scratch", placing President Pedro Sánchez at the center of her criticisms, whom she accuses of "promoting social unrest and tampering with electoral rolls".

Díaz Ayuso has assured that, when the PP reaches the Moncloa Palace, "all sectarian regulations that are sinking coexistence, prosperity, and the real lives of Spaniards" will be repealed and "a massive tax cut will be launched so that salaries triple".

The Madrid president has also lamented the situation of the middle class in Spain, considering that "it cannot be that the Spanish middle class has been left sunk, earning a thousand euros and aggrieved, and in such a way that not working is as rewarding as doing so because, after all, you earn the same", and has lashed out at Pedro Sánchez's Executive, accusing it of "giving lessons" while lacking priority matters on its agenda. Therefore, she has expressed her wish that an end will soon be put to "so much impunity, lies, and shamelessness".

Recalling that it has been a year since the blackout that affected the entire country, Díaz Ayuso has criticized that, since then, the only thing that has really worked are "the plugs, but those of the socialists in Red Eléctrica and their salaries".

At the closing of the event, the district secretary of the PP of Madrid, Alberto González, also spoke, who highlighted the work of the local representatives and stressed that the 273 neighborhood councilors of the Popular Party are "a single team" that deserves "recognition".
