The Deputy Secretary of Autonomous, Local and Electoral Analysis of the PP, Elías Bendodo, has lashed out against the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, whom he accuses of "fleeing" taking advantage of an official trip to China "while the first trial of 'sanchismo' is being held in the Supreme Court."

"That Sánchez not try to escape because the corruption of 'sanchismo' is already known even in China," Bendodo has stated, underlining that the head of the Executive "cannot continue trying to escape."

During his speech at the IX Congress of the PP of Mijas (Málaga), he maintained that on that trip "there he will feel more comfortable, while he continues releasing smoke bombs", although he stressed that "the truth is that this no longer works".

According to Bendodo, "Sanchismo has already sat in the dock" and has cited Koldo, Ábalos, and Santos Cerdán: "They are people of his utmost trust," he pointed out, recalling that "Ábalos was his right-hand man in the PSOE and in the Government and Koldo was the driver" during the primary election travels.

He has also warned that "the suspicions of illegal financing of the PSOE are increasingly evident with the movement of garbage bags and wads of money at the Ferraz headquarters".

In another moment of his speech, he lamented that this week "we have witnessed a chain of scandals that fully impact the Government and once again the governing party," a situation that, he affirmed, "in any country of the European Union would provoke immediate resignations and evidently a call for elections."

"It is a disgrace," he continued, alluding to the fact that "the wads of bills that circulated through the PSOE headquarters" have become known; that "there was talk of the tailor-made suit to rescue with 53 million euros a company like Plus Ultra that had only one plane"; and the "negligent" railway management of the Government that caused the Adamuz tragedy, where 46 people died".

In his understanding, "given a wave of scandals of this caliber" Sánchez's response should be "to summon the Spanish people, show his face, give explanations, and he has done the exact opposite", opting to "flee".

In the final part of his speech, Bendodo has reiterated that the President of the Executive would have to "show his face and give explanations" before "the wave of scandals," but, as he has criticized, Sánchez has preferred to travel to China "while he continues releasing smoke bombs." "The truth is that these maneuvers no longer work for him," he concluded.
