The Plenary Session of Congress resumes its activity starting at 3:00 PM with the debate on the consideration of the PP's Land Law proposal, for which they will need the favorable vote of Vox and at least the abstention of Junts or PNV. The initiative proposes to unblock land, build one million homes in four years, liberalize the rental market, and would repeal key parts of the 2023 Housing Law, such as the declaration of stressed market areas or price indices.
Next, the Plenary Session will debate the Bill to modify the regulation on oocyte cryopreservation. The initiative from the Socialist Group proposes to reform the Law on assisted human reproduction techniques, to “equate the regulation on oocyte cryopreservation with that of semen” and for women to have “complete freedom to decide, with the maximum conservation period being that of the life of the woman from whom they originate”.
The agenda continues with the non-law proposals (PNL). The first, from the PP, for the adoption of urgent measures in the fight against citizen insecurity caused by the increased use of bladed weapons. The second, from the PSOE, to promote the eradication of forced marriage globally.
Finally, it will be the turn of the motions:
- On the Government's plans "to abandon the war and criminal rearmament" (Podemos)
- On the Government's priorities in developing public policies for the remainder of the legislature (Vox)
- On the "fiscal hell to which the Government has condemned all Spaniards" (PP)
- On when the construction works for the 2nd phase of the Canal de Navarra will be tendered and awarded (UPN)
