The Plenary Session of the Senate resumes its activity from 09:00 hours with the debate of four motions:
- On the prison policy applied to ETA terrorist prisoners (PP)
- On the deflation of the IRPF brackets (PP)
- On the dignification of women's employment in the handling and preparation of horticultural products in Almería (PSOE)
- On the outlawing of EH Bildu (Vox)
In relation to this last point, Santiago Abascal's party points out that the Organic Law of Political Parties allows for the promotion of "the outlawing of formations that support or justify terrorist violence" and emphasizes that both the Senate and Congress are legitimized to initiate this procedure before the Supreme Court.
The session will continue with the vote on the conclusions of its investigation into the blackout a year ago, just one day after its anniversary. The ‘popular’ ones point to the Government, Red Eléctrica and CNMC and exclude the electricity companies from any responsibility. The text will go ahead thanks to the absolute majority of the popular in the Upper House.
