The Deputy Secretary of Sectoral Coordination of the PP, Alma Ezcurra, stated this Tuesday that the investiture agreements in Extremadura, Aragon and Castile and Leon will materialize as soon "as deadlines press." In the case of the region headed by María Guardiola, the key date is May 4.

In an interview on "The mornings of RNE", collected by Europa Press, has pointed out that the PP is "on its way" to govern in the three autonomous communities, after highlighting that the 'populars' have already achieved the presidency of the Cortes in all of them.

As he has explained, "the negotiations are going at a good pace" and, although they are being developed with discretion, they will result in transparent, firm governments and the fruit of consensus, just as "the ballot boxes have clearly asked for".

"They are as close as deadlines press," Ezcurra has insisted in relation to the investitures. The deadline is set for May 4 in Extremadura —last chance—, May 3 in Aragon for the first attempt, and May 7 in Castilla y León.
