The Deputy Secretary General of Economy of the PP, Juan Bravo, stated this Monday that his party continues in conversations with Vox in Extremadura, Aragon and Castilla y León, although he has urged to close the formation of the regional executives "as soon as possible" to avoid entering "into a blockade".

In an appearance before the media from "Génova", Bravo has shown himself "sure" that those negotiations will come to fruition because "the important thing is to give an answer to the citizens", who, in the case of Extremadura, have backed the PP with 43% of the votes.

"I believe that the clear will of the people of Extremadura is for María Guardiola to be their president, and the sooner a Government is formed, the sooner work can begin on drafting the budgets and working," she underlined.

The 'popular' leader has highlighted "all the predisposition and all the work" of his formation to close a pact that he trusts "will be achieved" as they are proposals that "more or less everyone shares".

Among those points, he has cited the tax reduction and the reduction of administrative and bureaucratic obstacles, the convenience of eliminating "superfluous" spending and the 'obligation' to respect institutions. "Returning to normality, eliminating those walls and that there is again the possibility of talking, that is what we have put on the table and I believe that those agreements will be reached shortly," he reiterated.

Extremadura, the first scenario and the frictions with Vox

Asked if a relevant advance could occur this very week, Bravo has indicated that the initial focus is on Extremadura, where "the logical thing," he insisted, is for Guardiola to assume the Presidency, although he pointed out that Vox will have to be asked when it wishes that Executive to be constituted.

In relation to the letter sent by Vox to its militancy, in which it accuses the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, of "attacking him" with "insidious remarks", Bravo has noted "some resemblance" between that writing and the one sent in its day by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, "when he had internal problems", in which he "blamed" the rest for what was happening to him.

Although the 'popular' spokesperson considers that the PP should not meddle "in the problems of others", he has stressed that it is "necessary" to close now the new autonomous governments to start working "as soon as possible". "If the Sánchez Government already does nothing, at least let the communities from their sphere be able to take the necessary measures to compensate Spaniards", he concluded.
