The consultancy Thinking Heads, pointed out by the investigation into former President of the Government José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, has flatly denied any link with an alleged plot in the investigation of the Plus Ultra case and has stressed that is not being investigated nor charged in the procedure opened by the Audiencia Nacional.
The company maintains through a statement to which Demócrata has had access that the information linking it to irregularities is "false" and defends that its activity has always been carried out within legality.
Relationship with Zapatero since 2014
The company explains that its relationship with former President of the Government José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero began in 2014 and has been maintained continuously over time.
According to the consultancy, this collaboration has been based on usual services in the sector, such as strategic advice, international conferences and editorial projects, in line with those it maintains with other former leaders from different countries.
The judicial focus: payments under analysis for the rescue of Plus Ultra
The judicial investigation analyzes certain economic movements and contracts linked to the former president's circle within the framework of the rescue of the airline Plus Ultra.
According to the proceedings, payments amounting to 681,318 euros linked to services attributed to Zapatero and another 12,297 euros directed to an agency related to his family circle are being studied.
These amounts are part of the examination of possible intermediations, although for now there is no judicial resolution confirming irregularities or criminal liabilities.
In the face of suspicions, Thinking Heads maintains that all investigated payments are backed by formal contracts and services effectively rendered, with documentation that certifies the activity carried out.
The company emphasizes that its business model is common in the international consulting sector and that it has been operating for more than two decades with high-level political and business figures.
