The president of Junts in the Catalan Parliament, Mònica Sales, has urged the president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, to immediately dismiss the Minister of Education, Esther Niubó; the Minister of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition and spokesperson for the Government, Sílvia Paneque; the Minister of Interior, Núria Parlon, and the Director General of the Mossos d'Esquadra, Josep Lluís Trapero: "The Government is in free fall".

"They cannot remain in their positions for another day. Illa must dismiss them," he insisted this Tuesday in a press conference in the Catalan Chamber, in which he reviewed the two years since the Catalan elections that brought Illa to the presidency of the Generalitat with the support of ERC and Comuns.

Sales has recalled that the Catalan president committed to bringing normality, stability, and effective management, but has defended that, in his opinion, Catalonia is now in a worse situation than two years ago in areas such as Rodalies, housing, education, healthcare, and language policy, among others.

"Catalonia has problems because at the helm there is a failing Government. The main problem that Catalonia has today is called Salvador Illa. His Government is in free fall. We are facing general incompetence," the Junts leader stressed, directly holding the president responsible for the deterioration that, according to her, the country is suffering.
