It is the highest recognition from the construction employers' association for a business career of effort and international projection
Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, president of Grupo FCC, has received the Special Award for Professional Career from the National Confederation of Construction (CNC), which is the highest honorary recognition from the construction employers' association, distinguishing a business career marked by effort, dedication, and international projection.
The president received the award from Pedro Fernández Alén, president of the CNC, and, emotionally, highlighted that "it is an honor and a privilege to receive recognition from this business organization, the home of those who, with their daily work, build the future of our country, and whose objective is to give voice to the entire construction sector and make visible the contribution of its companies."
She also wanted to personally thank her family for their support, with a special mention to her mother, Esther Koplowitz, whom she defined as an essential role model in her life and professional career. She also highlighted the constant support of Carlos Slim, a key shareholder of the Group, for his closeness and commitment. And she wanted to expressly share this recognition with all the employees of Grupo FCC, whose effort, dedication, and professionalism have been key to consolidating its position as an international benchmark.
This award, granted outside the eleven official categories of the gala, is given directly by the Jury as a tribute to individuals, companies, or organizations that have demonstrated a brilliant career and a decisive contribution to the sector.
The CNC's Special Award for Professional Career is added to an extensive and solid track record backed by multiple distinctions, and it also represents something particularly significant: the recognition of an entire sector towards a woman who presides over a group with more than a century of history and which has consolidated itself as an international benchmark in environmental services, integrated water cycle management, infrastructure construction, and the development of concession projects.
