The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has called to go to the polls "with hope" in the regional elections of May 17 to "not be betrayed" by Pedro Sánchez and Juanma Moreno, whom he has criticized for the regularization process of migrant people promoted by the Junta.

"All Spaniards already know what we want: Illegals, repatriation for all, criminals, all deported. This is not rejection or hatred of outsiders, it is common sense. If we reject someone, it is the traitorous politicians who have condemned us to so many bad things," he stated during his speech.

Abascal has supported the candidate for the Presidency of the Junta, Manuel Gavira, at a rally held in Plaza Virgen de los Reyes in Seville, where national leaders of the party such as the Secretary General of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, and the spokesperson for the parliamentary group, Pepa Millán, also participated.

The heads of the Vox lists in the three regional elections prior to the Andalusian ones also joined the event: the one from Extremadura, the current vice-president, Óscar Fernández Calle; the one from Aragon, also vice-president, Alejandro Nolasco; and the one from Castilla y León, Carlos Pollán. According to data provided by the party, around 3,500 people would have gathered in the square.

The national leader of Vox has supported Gavira and congratulated him on the "extraordinary" campaign for May 17. "He is the only one who has spoken about people's problems against the Chiliquatre of San Telmo," he remarked, taking the opportunity to criticize Moreno's electoral strategy.

Abascal has placed the Andalusian president in the same line as Pedro Sánchez, whom he has accused of "covering up" corruption cases affecting his circle through the management of the Hantavirus and other issues. He has also warned of a "possible alteration" of the next general elections.

"This guy is not content with lying, betraying, presiding over robbery and corruption, but he has decided to steal our democracy by trying to alter the electoral roll for the 2027 elections by promoting a process of nationalizations," he emphasized.

The leader of Vox wanted to address younger voters specifically, to whom he thanked for their involvement during the campaign. "There is real hope," he said, while encouraging them to vote "with joy" to "have a decent salary, start a family, and put down roots in their own homeland."

For his part, the Vox candidate for the Junta de Andalucía, Manuel Gavira, has assured that, if they manage to enter the regional government on May 17, they will "create a new Andalusia where the countryside will come first". In the same vein, he has defended national priority and has maintained that next May 17 "Andalusians will have what other Spaniards have and we will recover being always first".

"We want to have a government that gets involved, that faces the problems of Andalusians, that gets into trouble and gets all Andalusians out of trouble," he stated.

In the same direction, the Andalusian leader of Vox has stressed that the PSOE "has nothing to do" and has reiterated that they aspire to "a government that faces the problems of Andalusians". "We will begin that recovery of our nation on May 17 and it will end when Santiago is president of Spain," he added.

"When Vox is in government, things change"

The vice-presidents of Extremadura and Aragón, Óscar Fernández and Alejandro Nolasco, attended the rally. "When Vox is in government, things happen, things change, things that had not changed for years and decades and months begin to change," Nolasco highlighted in his speech in Plaza Virgen de los Reyes.

The general secretary of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, also participated in the last campaign event and assured that, facing May 17, Vox "is the only political force that will grow in percentage of votes election after election". "We don't care about the result because people know that convictions do not move us, and that our pulse will not tremble".

He also stressed that "we are not going to take a step back and have no doubt that the time will come when Santiago Abascal will change the history of our nation".

For her part, the spokesperson for Vox in Congress, Pepa Millán, defended this Friday that "a new and decent Andalusia must be made" because "it has absolutely everything to be at the forefront".

In this line, she lashed out at PP and PSOE and guaranteed that from Vox they will "make sure that none of those who have plunged Andalusia into decadence will have any further opportunities to hold any responsibility over Andalusians".

"There is no need for talent or capacity here because we have plenty of it, what is needed is ambition and the desire to rise to the occasion to defend our land and our roots without complexes," Millán concluded.
