Voter turnout in the regional elections this Sunday, May 17, in Andalusia stands at 37.25% as of 2:00 PM, representing an increase of three points compared to the June 2022 elections. This is according to data consulted by Europa Press on the Junta de Andalucía's electoral tracking website, with information corresponding to 99.8% of the polling stations.

The province of Córdoba leads participation at midday, with 40.5%, while Huelva remains the territory with the lowest percentage of voters by 2:00 PM, with 34.32% of its census mobilized.

All Andalusian provinces show an increase in participation compared to the same time frame in the June 2022 regional elections. Almería has the largest increase, with an additional 4.57 points, and Jaén the smallest, with an increase of 1.36 points.

In Almería, 36.8% of the electorate entitled to vote has already gone to the polls, compared to 32.23% four years ago, which means an increase of 4.57 points.

In Cádiz, participation reaches 34.44% of the census, above the 31.16% recorded in the last regional elections, representing an increase of 3.28 points.

In Córdoba, the percentage of voters stands at 40.5%, compared to 38.92% counted in June 2022, thus marking an increase of 1.58 points.

In Granada, 38.2% of those called to the polls have exercised their right to vote, 3.27 points more than almost four years ago, when at this same time participation was 34.93%.

In Huelva, 34.32% of citizens have already passed through the polling stations, compared to 29.8% who did so in June 2022, which translates to an increase of 4.52 points.

In Jaén, 39.24% of the census has already voted, compared to 37.88% recorded four years ago, which means an increase of 1.36 points.

In Málaga, 35.66% of citizens entitled to vote have cast their ballot, whereas in the previous regional elections, 32.98% had done so by this time, with an advance of 2.68 points.

Finally, in Seville, participation reaches 38.79%, compared to 35.51% four years ago, which is 3.28 points more than in the June 2022 regional elections.
