Participation in the Andalusian elections this Sunday, May 17, stands at 51.65% as of 6:00 PM, according to the third official report from the Junta de Andalucía.
This figure represents an increase of 7.14 percentage points compared to the 2022 regional elections, when 44.51% of the electorate had voted by the same time.
This is a very significant increase that confirms that electoral mobilization has intensified throughout the day. After a first report slightly lower than in 2022 and a second update clearly on the rise, the 6:00 PM figure consolidates a much higher turnout than four years ago.

Participation accelerates during the afternoon

As of 11:30 AM, 15.10% of the electorate had voted, 0.34 percentage points less than in 2022.
As of 2:00 PM, turnout rose to 37.24%, 3 percentage points more than four years ago.
As of 6:00 PM, the increase extends to 7.14 percentage points, with 51.65% of the electorate already having voted.

The trend reflects a strong acceleration of participation during the afternoon, making this election day one of the most mobilized in recent years in Andalusia.

Participation by province at 6:00 PM

Turnout is clearly increasing in all Andalusian provinces.

Almería: 49.57% (+7.80 points)
Cádiz: 47.09% (+5.73 points)
Córdoba: 54.09% (+5.61 points)
Granada: 53.11% (+8.64 points)
Huelva: 47.98% (+8.09 points)
Jaén: 53.36% (+6.15 points)
Málaga: 51.05% (+7.46 points)
Sevilla: 54.44% (+7.66 points)
Granada leads the increase in participation with 8.64 points more than in 2022, followed by Huelva (+8.09) and Almería (+7.80).
Seville and Córdoba exceed 54%

Seville, the province with the most seats in the Andalusian Parliament, has a turnout of 54.44%, 7.66 percentage points above the figure recorded in 2022.

Córdoba also exceeds 54%, with 54.09%.

Both provinces are among the most mobilized in the entire region.

A key figure before the polls close

The 6:00 PM report is the last major indicator before the polling stations close at 8:00 PM.
With turnout more than seven percentage points above the 2022 figure, Andalusia enters the final stretch of the day with extraordinary mobilization that could significantly alter the final distribution of seats in the Andalusian Parliament, where an absolute majority is 55 deputies.
