The number of deaths caused by the surprise offensive launched on Saturday by the United States and Israel against Iran has already exceeded a thousand, according to the complaint made this Wednesday by the country's authorities.
The Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans of Iran has indicated that “the number of martyrs buried after these brutal attacks amounts to 1,045”, as reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
In the same way, the body has underlined that “a number of military and civilian compatriots have obtained the great grace of martyrdom for the aggressive attack of the criminal United States and the usurper Zionist regime”.
Among the fatalities is the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in addition to several ministers and high-ranking commanders of the Iranian Army, which has reacted by launching missiles and drones against Israel and against American bases located in various countries of the Middle East.
