This Monday, in-person attention begins for the extraordinary regularization of immigrants approved by the Government. Post offices, Social Security offices, and Immigration offices begin to serve applicants, always with a prior appointment and during specific hours enabled for this procedure.

The measure comes after the deadline for the online processing and the appointment system opened. From now on, those who opt for the in-person route will be able to go to more than 370 Post Office branches, more than 60 Social Security offices, and five immigration offices located in Madrid, Alicante, Valencia, Almería, and Murcia. The process will be available until June 30, 2026, for both online and in-person applications.

Where and when to apply

In-person requests are handled at different locations and times:

  • Social Security Offices: Monday to Friday, from 16:00 to 19:00 hours
  • Immigration Offices: Monday to Friday, from 16:00 to 19:00 hours
  • Post Offices: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 17:30 hours

From the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations they insist that appointments will not be attended without prior appointment and that these hours have been organized so as not to interfere with other usual procedures.

How to request an appointment

There are several ways to request an appointment:

  • Through the Ministry's Regularization portal, using the Cl@ve system, where you can choose the office, date, and time.
  • Through a web form, in which a specific appointment cannot be chosen, as the closest one is automatically assigned.
  • By calling the telephone number 060, with service in Spanish from Monday to Friday, from 09:30 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:30.

If Cl@ve is not available, the requirements to obtain it can be consulted or another person can be asked to submit the application on behalf of the interested party. Subsequent communications will preferably be made through the same channel used, so it is recommended to correctly fill in personal and contact details. In case of representation, notifications will be sent to the representative.

Who can request regularization

Those who find themselves in one of these two situations will be able to access this process:

  • Have requested international protection in Spain before January 1, 2026.
  • Be in an irregular administrative situation and have arrived in Spain before that same date.
