The broadcast of La hora de La 1 was interrupted this Friday morning for about 20 minutes after an electrical outage that affected TVE and temporarily took the morning program off the air.
The incident also affected Canal 24 Horas, which shares that news slot, and caused an unexpected interruption in the middle of the live broadcast.
Upon regaining the signal, Silvia Intxaurrondo explained to viewers what had happened and assured that the team had suffered "a power outage of a nature we do not know," without further details being offered at the time about the origin of the incident.
