Rafa Jódar was born on September 17, 2006, in Leganés, Madrid. From a young age, he combined his academic training with tennis, training at clubs in the capital. His talent was consolidated over the years, first on the junior circuit, where he stood out with achievements such as the individual title at the US Open 2024, and then in ATP Challenger tournaments before making the leap to professionalism.

Record and first professional achievements
