The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has denounced this Tuesday the "international scandal" of the imputation of Zapatero and expects the Government not to "try to cover up the truth" by using the Prosecutor's Office and the State Attorney's Office.

"Questioning the work of Justice is terrible and typical of a populist Government," she assured. This is how the leader of the PP of Madrid has spoken, before participating in the delivery of 422 affordable rental homes from the Plan Vive in Pinto.

In the opinion of the Madrid president, "it is surprising that the Government, far from wanting to investigate a matter that was of international knowledge, has dedicated itself at all times to covering it up, and I hope it does not use the Prosecutor's Office, nor the State Attorney's Office, nor what they always do to try to cover up the truth".

"Now - she pointed out - what we need to know is what is happening, what is there, and from there ask for more explanations. But, of course, this is an international scandal that once again places this Government and everything around it at the epicenter of scandals and tremendous discredit."

"Is everyone a fascist?"

Ayuso also stressed that she finds it incredible that we have also heard about the they will not stop, in allusion to the attitude taken by the PSOE criticizing the Popular Party. "What is happening - she asked rhetorically - are the judges also fascists, is everyone a fascist, is there *lawfare*, is Spain not a state of law, or is that what they intend it not to be?".

Finally, she stated that, "to question the work they are doing, Justice seems terrible to me and typical of a populist Government. Are they also going to question the international investigations of the rest of the organizations? I think the time has come to give explanations, to see what is happening, transparency and that a matter like Plus Ultra, which the whole world knows about, comes to an end and it is known what exactly is there," she declared.
