The difference between the cheapest and most expensive period is again wide. Prices fall to zero or negative values between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, while the highest cost is concentrated at the end of the day.
What is the cheapest hour for electricity
The cheapest hour on Sunday is between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, with an average hourly price of -1.11 euros per megawatt-hour.
Negative prices are also recorded between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, electricity remains exactly at zero in the wholesale market.
The best times to concentrate the use of washing machines, dishwashers, and other appliances are:
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: -0.56 euros/MWh.
From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: -0.91 euros/MWh.
From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM: -1.11 euros/MWh.

These amounts correspond to the wholesale market. The final cost of the regulated bill also incorporates tolls, charges, taxes, and other components of the PVPC.

The two consecutive hours will also be particularly expensive: from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 144.49 euros/MWh will be paid, and from 11:00 PM to midnight, 145.91 euros/MWh.
The price begins to rise rapidly from 7:00 PM, coinciding with the decrease in solar production and the increase in domestic consumption.
