Vox has registered a proposal in the Regional Assembly urging the Government delegate, Francisco Lucas, to activate all available instruments to reinforce the security and protection of the coastline of the Region of Murcia, after the arrival this Wednesday of a boat to Cala del Barco, in Los Belones (Cartagena), while there were bathers in the area.

The spokesperson for Vox in the Regional Assembly, Rubén Martínez Alpañez, has denounced the "arms crossed attitude" of the Government in the face of the arrival of illegal immigration to the Murcian coasts and has requested a reinforcement of the material and human resources of the State Security Forces and Corps in order to protect the borders, as indicated by the party.

Martínez Alpañez has demanded that Lucas provide the Region with the essential resources to guarantee security and combat the entry of boats and narco-boats on the coastline of Murcia.

Likewise, he has again criticized that the Executive "remains with arms crossed" while the arrivals of irregular vessels continue and has insisted on the need for real and effective protection of the regional borders, with the adequate means for the State Security Forces and Corps to intervene with guarantees.
