BBVA has announced at its annual innovation meeting "Futura 26" a new mortgage calculator, personalized shortcuts in its 'app', and an advanced customization option for bank cards.

Specifically, the "Fast Track Mortgage" tool allows any interested party—whether a client of the bank or not—to know in advance how much the entity could finance for the purchase of a home, based on an individualized economic study prepared with official data obtained automatically and securely, according to the bank.

Thus, the applicant will receive a detailed analysis within approximately eight business hours regarding the indicative amount that could be granted. Furthermore, this preliminary report may remain valid for three months as long as the data used in the evaluation is not modified.

The process does not require proceeding with the mortgage contract or create any type of commitment with BBVA. The final approval will depend on the complete risk assessment and the valuation of the property to be mortgaged.

In parallel, the new option to configure personalized shortcuts is integrated into BBVA's strategy of offering an 'app' experience that is increasingly "adapted to the interests and needs of each user," according to the entity.

In this way, certain clients will be able to immediately view the evolution of their net worth, the status of their monthly income and expenses, investment trends related to stocks or exchange-traded funds (ETFs), tailored savings goals, or recommendations from their financial "coach."

BBVA will also add specific shortcuts to benefits and experiences for clients, such as commission-free travel, discounts, promotions, or new digital services. Within this framework, each user will be able to order and configure these shortcuts to adapt the 'app' to their preferences.

Regarding card personalization, the bank will allow the use of images generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) on both iOS and Android devices to design their appearance.

Furthermore, the entity chaired by Carlos Torres has reinforced its focus on young people with a reduced fee for investing in stocks and ETFs through BBVA Trader Bolsa. Specifically, those under 30 years of age can trade for 0.99 euros per transaction and without paying custody fees.

At the same time, these users have the superior "Travel Pack" at no cost, which offers operations abroad without commissions or amount limits, even on weekends, along with free ATM withdrawals.

In terms of security, BBVA incorporated approximately one month ago a functionality that allows users to verify from the 'app' itself if a received call actually belongs to the bank. This solution integrates a real-time verification system that adds an extra layer of protection against fraud and identity theft attempts.
