"Carlsberg recorded solid growth in revenues and profits during the first half, despite the ongoing uncertainty of the macroeconomic environment, and we observed sustained progress in our key strategic priorities, with particularly strong growth in soft drinks and non-alcoholic beers. We signed a strategic alliance with Sapporo, further strengthening our portfolio of premium beers, and announced the expansion of our alliance with PepsiCo in the Nordic, Baltic, and Azerbaijan countries," stated Carlsberg's CEO, Jacob Aarup-Andersen.
"We are committed to achieving our financial leverage target of 2.5 and we will make solid progress in this regard in 2026 thanks to the generation of free cash flow, the issuance of hybrid bonds, and the expected revenues from Sapporo's investment in our new joint venture," he added.
