Emirates SkyCargo has announced a strategic expansion of its operations in East and Southeast Asia with the aim of meeting the increased demand from the region's main manufacturing hubs.

The airline will increase the number of frequencies to improve the connection of these industrial centers with the most relevant markets in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and America.

In fiscal year 25/26, the company moved more than 439,000 tons from this geographical area, representing a year-on-year increase of 5%, driven mainly by the dynamism of technology and e-commerce.

The plan includes doubling weekly flights to Tokyo-Narita and Taipei, adding 37 new frequencies to Hong Kong, and launching three routes from Zhengzhou (China), in addition to resuming operations in Singapore.

This additional offering will be added to the cargo holds of more than 320 weekly passenger flights, providing exporters with a capacity of over 12,000 tons per week.

The division will also strengthen the specialized transport of electronic, pharmaceutical, and perishable products, and will present this roadmap at the "Air Cargo China 2026" fair.
