The Vox spokesperson in the Constitutional Commission, José María Sánchez García, was expelled this Tuesday from the Plenary Session of Congress after he was called to order on three occasions, after confronting a lawyer from the presidential table and with the first vice-president of the Chamber, Alfonso Rodríguez Gómez de Celis, who at that moment was directing the session.

The parliamentarian began to protest from his seat while the ERC deputy Francesc Marc Alvaro was speaking, during the debate of a PSOE proposal on the so-called "bibliocaust" or burning of books in the Francoist era.

At that moment he received the first call to order, but shortly after he went up to the presidential table of the Plenary Hall and expressed his complaints to one of the lawyers, which prompted a second warning from Gómez de Celis, who reminded him that he ran the risk of being expelled.

Far from calming down, Sánchez García again approached the president and maintained his protests until he was finally persuaded to return to his seat. In accordance with the regulations and after the three calls to order, Gómez de Celis decreed the expulsion of the Vox deputy, which will prevent him from intervening in the debates and participating in the remaining votes of the session.
