Márquez is back in command at Sachsenring

Sachsenring is one of the circuits where Marc Márquez has achieved his best results during his career.

The rider has secured his eleventh pole at the German track and his third of the 2026 season. His time improved the previous circuit record and allowed him to win a qualifying session decided by mere thousandths.

What is the Sachsenring circuit like?

The German circuit measures 3.7 kilometers and is characterized by a succession of left-hand turns.

The sprint race is contested over 13 laps. The track places particular demands on the left tire and punishes mistakes on the fast descent towards turn 11, one of its most delicate points.
