Santiago del Teide will host from June 26 to 28 three days of competition, showcookings, gastronomic experiences, and activities open to the public. More than 90 contestants and content creators, who together have more than 27 million followers, will participate in one of the biggest gastronomic and entertainment events of the year in the Canary Islands.
Tenerife will be the setting, from June 26 to 28, for the first in-person final of El Reto de MasterChef, a unique experience that will turn Santiago del Teide into the national epicenter of gastronomy, entertainment, and digital content creation.
For 3 days, 90 participants will compete accompanied by some of the best influencers in the country, in a unique event that will combine gastronomy, leisure, local culture, and experiences for all audiences. The participating profiles exceed 27 million followers on social networks, which will make Tenerife the center of attention for thousands of followers, both digital and in-person.
One of the main attractions of this edition will be the participation of prominent content creators, entertainment personalities, and gastronomy references who will act as Team Leaders for the competition. Among them are Raquel Meroño with her daughter Martina, Nagore Robles, Rubén Garcia, Estefania de Andrés, Luzu, Chefenials, and Daniel del Toro, who will accompany and advise the participants during the challenges.
The program includes the participation, among others, of the comedian, actor, and presenter Alex O'Dogherty, who will serve as the official commentator for the event.
The event is part of the II edition of El Reto de MasterChef, a participatory project that is part of the most important gastronomic talent in the world.
After bringing together more than 8,000 participants and generating more than 150 million accumulated impacts in the first edition, the project continued its expansion with new territorial initiatives that promote tourism, boost the economy, and give visibility to local culture.
This initiative, organized by the Cabildo de Tenerife, through its Area of Commerce and Support for Business, and with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Santiago del Teide, will once again turn the island into the setting where participants and content creators will experience three unforgettable days. The project, strongly promoted by Lope Afonso, Krysten Martín, and Emilio Navarro Castanedo, also has the collaboration of various entities, institutions, and companies committed to a proposal that continues to bet on valuing talent, gastronomy, and territory.
This edition has the support of INTERPORC as the main sponsor, which will participate with its renowned "Spanish Bocata" and ham-cutting demonstrations. Dialprix Canarias, Galletas Gullón, Cosori, Avomix, and Harinas P.A.N. are also collaborating. Likewise, Binter participates as the official logistics provider, facilitating the travel of contestants, guests, and content creators to Tenerife.
The organization also thanks the local suppliers Danone Canarias, Panadería Zulay, Dorada Especial, Bodegas El Lomo, and Tirma for their collaboration, who join this great celebration of gastronomy and talent. As well as The Show Room Mag, who will organize the welcome cocktail at the Monkey Beach club on the coast of Adeje and will be the promoters of the event's VIP area.
