Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced early this Monday that it has carried out bombings against Kurdish groups located in the province of Sulaymaniyah, in northern Iraq, without offering more concrete information about the operation for now.
In particular, the attacks have targeted the headquarters of an organization that the Iranian force describes as "terrorist," located in said northern Iraqi province, according to the Tasnim news agency, linked to this military corps.
The Kurdistan region has become a focus of clashes following the offensive launched by the United States and Israel last February, after Tehran responded with reprisals against American interests in the area, where numerous armed groups operate, which, in turn, have carried out attacks against Iran.
