The Generalitat has approved the granting of aid for a total amount of 1.82 million euros aimed at covering part of the costs of the activities carried out by the management bodies of the recognized quality labels, as well as the authorized associative entities to use the CV quality mark.
In this call, the regulatory councils of the DOP Vinos de Valencia, the IGP Jijona y Turrón de Alicante, the IGP Cerezas de la Montaña de Alicante, the IGP Cítricos Valencianos, the DOP Alicante, the DOP Kaki Ribera del Xúquer, the DOP Uva de Mesa Embolsada del Vinalopó, the DOP Chufa de Valencia, the DOP Arroz de Valencia, the DOP Nísperos de Callosa d'en Sarrià, the DOP Alcachofa de Benicarló, the DOP Utiel-Requena and the DOP Granada Mollar de Elche are beneficiaries.
Likewise, the recipients include the Comité de Agricultura Ecológica de la Comunitat Valenciana, the Asociación Nacional de Criadores de Raza Guirra, the Asociación de Productores y Comercializadores de Tomate Muchamiel, the Associació de Productors i Comercialitzadors de la Tomata Valenciana, the Associació Vitivinícola de Castelló, the Asociación para la Promoción y Defensa del Aceite Serrana de Espadán, the Asociación de Productores de Aguacates and the Asociación de Productores de Olivar y Almazaras de Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra Olis d'Alacant.
The subsidies include actions linked to the creation and operation of the management, control and certification bodies, in addition to promotion and information initiatives, among which participation in contests, fairs and exhibitions are contemplated, as well as other measures aimed at reinforcing knowledge of differentiated quality products.
The entities that receive these aid grants must submit the payment request and provide the supporting documentation for the activities carried out no later than next November 16.
