The farmers and ranchers of Andalusia will receive around 779 million euros as an advance of the direct aid from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) until November 30 of this year, according to the disbursement forecast made by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and paid through the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA).

The department has indicated in a note that, in the whole country, the sector has already received more than 70% of the advance of 2.691 billion, and that the payment schedule will remain operational until the end of November. In this way, the FEGA has transferred to the autonomous communities 2.417 billion euros, of which Spanish producers have already received more than 1.850 billion.

In this context, the ministry has emphasized that "the execution rate is good and allows producers to have greater liquidity to face the expenses for the autumn sowing."

The European Commission has authorized increasing the percentage of advance of the direct aid to 75%, in response to the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on energy costs and the price of fertilizers.

Along with the 779 million assigned to Andalusia, the estimated distribution in the rest of the autonomous communities is as follows: Aragon, 244.5 million euros; Asturias, 38.8 million; Balearic Islands, 17 million; Cantabria, 15.9 million; Castilla-La Mancha, 445.6 million; Castilla y León, 638.6 million; Extremadura, 283.4 million; Galicia, 47 million; Madrid, 21.4 million; Murcia, 26 million; Navarra, 74.2 million; La Rioja, 17.7 million, and the Valencian Community, 42 million euros.
