The Parliament has asked the Government to open negotiations with the Government to achieve the complete transfer of the Catalan airport system to the Generalitat. The initiative has gone ahead with the support of all groups, except PSC-Units, which has abstained, and PP and Vox, which have voted against.

This demand is part of a motion presented by Junts that the plenary has approved this Wednesday, and it resumes a request that the Chamber had already endorsed in a resolution approved on July 16.

Another of the sections that has progressed (with the abstention of the PSC and the rejection of Vox, Comuns, and CUP) urges the Government to demand that the Government promote the necessary actions to rethink the Airport Master Plan, in such a way that it incorporates the planned investment for the satellite Terminal of Barcelona Airport.

Likewise, approval has been given to demand from the Government the "urgent" dissemination of the detailed income statements of each and every one of the airports in the Aena network, retroactively and with the commitment to publish them every year.

In parallel, the Parliament has agreed to urge that the execution of investments in the high-speed railway stations of the airports of Girona and Reus (Tarragona) be accelerated, as well as the interventions on the high-speed railway network, with the aim that the set of Catalan airports operates as an intermodal and interoperable system.
