The judge of the National Court (AN) María Tardón has decreed the provisional imprisonment without the possibility of bail for one of the ten arrested in the anti-terrorist operation developed this Thursday in Alicante, while she has released the rest of the detainees, according to judicial sources have indicated to Europa Press.
Among those who are not entering prison, the magistrate has imposed on one of them the prohibition of leaving the national territory, so that he will not be able to leave Spain while the open investigation continues.
The investigating judge attributes to those involved, all of them originally from Eastern European countries, alleged crimes of terrorism, financing of terrorism, and self-indoctrination, within the framework of a case being heard in the National Court.
As additional precautionary measures, those who have been released must periodically go to the corresponding court to sign and prove their appearance before the judicial authority.
The police operation was deployed by the National Police in several points of the province, specifically in Alicante, Xixona and in the area of Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa, within the region of Vega Baja.
The operation, coordinated by the National Court, was carried out by agents of the General Information Commissariat (CGI) and had the collaboration of specialized police units such as the Special Operations Group (GEO).
