The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has activated an alert due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in a smoked salmon product sold in Lidl supermarkets.
The affected food is Norwegian smoked salmon with pistachio from the Deluxe brand, distributed in refrigerated format in blister packaging.
The company has confirmed the withdrawal of the product from the market as a precautionary measure.

According to the available information, the product has been distributed mainly in the Canary Islands, although its presence in other communities is not ruled out.
