Arconas International has communicated the acquisition of a 3% stake in Acerinox, equivalent to 7,480,125 shares and valued at 124.47 million euros according to the closing price this Friday, of 16.64 euros per share, as stated in the notification of significant holdings registered with the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

The company, headquartered in Ta'Xbiex (Malta) and controlled by the Sainz de Vicuña and Bemberg family, reached this threshold on October 19 through a transaction executed in a regulated market, according to the information sent to the supervisory body.

The declared 3% corresponds entirely to voting rights directly linked to shares of Acerinox, without Arconas having reported additional positions through financial instruments. This percentage is calculated on a total of 249,335,371 existing voting rights in the steel company.

In the section regarding the previous situation of the holding, a 0% is listed, although the communication does not specify what percentage the company held just before exceeding the threshold now notified.

The document also does not specify the amount actually paid for the share package, so the valuation at the closing price does not necessarily reflect the acquisition cost of the investment.

Acerinox shares rose 1.03% in the market this Friday, reaching 16.64 euros.

Behind Arconas International is the Sainz de Vicuña and Bemberg family, specifically the siblings Federico, Álvaro, Ana, and Beatriz. The family is historically linked to the establishment of Coca-Cola in Spain and the Argentine brewery Quilmes. Its investment structure also includes Corporación Financiera Guadalmar and holdings in various countries, including Spain, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay.
