The Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Embratur) has launched the registration period for companies and institutions linked to tourism in Brazil to apply to participate as co-exhibitors at Brazil’s official stand at Fitur 2027, which will be held in Madrid from January 20 to 24, with the aim of promoting their destinations and products among international buyers.

This action is part of the collaboration between Embratur and the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae), aimed at strengthening the projection of Brazilian tourism in foreign markets. Applications may be submitted until October 30.

Spain is among the key destinations for Brazil, since between January and September 2026 the South American country received more than 130,000 Spanish tourists, which represents an increase of 17.54% compared with the 111,000 recorded in the same period of 2025.

According to Embratur president Bruno Reis, the number of flights between Spain and Brazil increased by 25.7% between 2025 and 2026, while connections linking Spanish airports with Brazilian cities rose by 16.7%. Reis has highlighted that the presence at Fitur will make it possible to showcase the country’s variety of destinations, close new business alliances, and turn travelers’ interest into business opportunities.

The invitation is directed at international receptive tourism operators, tourist accommodations, airlines, tourism promotion entities, sector associations, and public administrations, among other potential participants.

To qualify for a place, companies and entities must comply with the criteria set out in the call guidelines and have an up-to-date Registry of Tourism Service Providers (Cadastur). The evaluation results will be announced on November 9.

Participation will be free of charge for the selected organizations, which will be able to showcase their products, destinations, and experiences to professionals and the public attending the fair. Likewise, they will have the opportunity to propose actions to publicize the culture, gastronomy, nature, and other tourism offerings of Brazil.
