Fujitsu has announced the signing of an agreement with Anthropic PBC, formalized on May 27, through which both companies will join forces to drive large-scale AI-based transformation in the Japanese business sector.

Under this alliance, the Japanese multinational will incorporate Anthropic's "Claude" to "reinforce and expand" its "Forward Deployed Engineer" (FDE) model, designed to translate AI capabilities into concrete business results.

The combination of the FDE approach with "Claude" will allow Fujitsu to go beyond mere technological adoption, offering AI solutions directly linked to real business value, supported by "close" collaboration with clients and a deep understanding of each sector.

In parallel, Fujitsu aims to raise the level of cybersecurity in companies, critical infrastructures, and essential services, moving from traditional schemes towards new operating models in which human expertise and artificial intelligence act jointly.

Working alongside the Japanese Government, the company plans to use the knowledge generated in these projects to contribute to strengthening security throughout society.

"Thanks to this collaboration, we will combine Fujitsu's deep expertise in multiple industries and business areas with Anthropic's advanced AI models," declared Fujitsu CEO and General Manager, Takahito Tokita.

To conclude, Anthropic's Commercial Director, Paul Smith, emphasized that this agreement represents one of the "most relevant commitments to cutting-edge AI" in the Japanese market and assured that the company is "proud" to be Fujitsu's partner.
