Getnet, the payment 'fintech' of Banco Santander, has launched a new talent acquisition program for young people with the aim of adding expert profiles in artificial intelligence and enhancing its capabilities in this technology, as communicated this Monday.
"With this program, we want to attract talent and accelerate the incorporation of these capabilities throughout the organization to advance our vision of integrating AI into all our processes because at Getnet we understand artificial intelligence as a key element in how we operate, develop products, and generate value for customers," stated the CEO of Getnet, Juan Franco.
This initiative corresponds to the second edition of its "IA Graduate Program." In the first call, the eight selected young people ended up joining the company's staff. The plan is aimed at attracting recent graduates with "analytical capacity" and a "solid technical foundation" to integrate into real business projects related to payments, FX, risk management, operations, or the design and development of new products.
The offer is aimed at recent graduates or students who are finishing their studies in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Telecommunications, Mathematical Economics, or related degrees. The selected candidates will carry out their activities for 12 months in Getnet's AI laboratory, participating in initiatives applied to the business.
