Indra has been recognized as "Regional Consulting Partner of the Year" at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit Madrid 2026, in recognition of its role in driving joint business with AWS, as the company reported this Wednesday in a statement.
"This recognition reflects our ability to transform technology into real and sustainable results for organizations," said Indra's director of technological operations, Sebastián Bamonde, who added that currently the "real differentiator is not just innovating, but executing and scaling innovation with business impact."
In parallel, the company has emphasized that it has recently achieved "another milestone" within the AWS ecosystem with the attainment of the "AWS Agentic AI Services Competency."
Ability to create and implement autonomous AI systems
This recognition certifies Indra's ability to design and implement autonomous Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems that can perceive, reason, and act with minimal human supervision, as well as coordinate complex processes, while maintaining a "firm commitment" to responsible AI development, governance, and oversight.
"This advancement consolidates Indra's commitment to a new generation of AI aimed not only at automating tasks, but at transforming complete business processes through intelligent models capable of operating across all business processes from beginning to end," the multinational explained.
As executive Bamonde indicated, AI "is evolving towards models capable of operating complete processes autonomously and supervised, and at Indra they are driving this transformation by combining generative AI capabilities, advanced automation, and multi-agent architectures."
"This is allowing us to gain efficiency, accelerate the evolution of our solutions, and apply intelligent models in critical operations and highly regulated environments," he stressed, highlighting that the fact that AWS recognizes their capabilities in this field "places them among the players who are leading the industrialization of AI." Indra has been part of the AWS Partner Network (APN) for more than ten years, with a consolidated track record in creating value for its clients.
"The company also has a broad set of advanced technical competencies in key areas such as AI - including generative AI and agentic AI -, cloud migration and modernization of systems, solutions for public administrations, automation and efficient management of technological environments (DevOps), or projects for the energy sector and 'utilities', among others," it has highlighted, pointing out that the aforementioned distinctions "demonstrate its capacity to undertake complex digitalization initiatives with real and measurable results."
