The General Council of the Spanish Bar Association, the Higher Council of the Colleges of Architects of Spain, the General Council of Procurators, and the General Council of Technical Architecture have demanded that the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration, Elma Saiz, expedite the regulatory development of the gateway to the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA) as much as possible.

In a joint statement, the four corporations emphasize that the meeting of the Council of Ministers scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, constitutes a particularly suitable occasion to submit the regulation for approval.

For this reason, they insist on the advisability of taking advantage of that date to accelerate the procedures and respond, after years of demands, to the professionals who are still waiting for a regulatory solution.

The organizations stress that the priority must be to complete the processing of this initiative as soon as possible and ensure a regulation that provides full legal certainty to all the affected groups.

Regarding the possibility of approving the Royal Decree of the Gateway to the RETA despite the dissolution of the Cortes and the call for general elections on November 29, they remind that there is still a time margin to advance in the processing of the regulation and make its approval viable.

The demand for the gateway to the RETA, promoted for more than three years by associations, platforms, groups, and the mutualists' union, responds to an urgent need that affects more than 150,000 professionals, who require this regulation to be able to decide with certainty about their professional and pension future.
