Sidenor and the union organizations UGT, CCOO and USO have reached a preliminary agreement for the new collective bargaining agreement of the group for the next six years, which includes annual salary increases of between 3.25% and 2.5%, in addition to review clauses every three years linked to the CPI.

The pact, which will apply to 1,600 employees at the plants in Basauri (Vizcaya), Vitoria and Reinosa (Cantabria), will extend the validity of the agreement from this year until 2032. In the first year, the workforce will receive 14.5% more, the result of the 3.25% salary increase, to which a 5% regularization of the previous framework agreement is added. To this will be added a "1% framework agreement bonus," as well as "a 5% regularization of the previous agreement."

For 2028, an increase of 3% is set; in 2029, 2.5%; and in 2030, 2%, with a "review linked to the CPI with a limit of 2%". In 2031, salary will increase by 2.25% and in 2032, by 2.5%. In 2033, "a salary review linked to the CPI with a limit of 3%" will be carried out. In addition, in the years 2028, 2031 and 2032, a "1.25% framework agreement bonus" will be paid.

The pre-agreed document sets annual working days at 210 from 2027. Likewise, it includes the possibility of taking early retirement for people born between 1965 and 1971, along with the conversion and formalization of 200 permanent employment contracts.
