The Saudi telecommunications group STC closed the first nine months of the fiscal year with attributable net profit of 10,918 million Saudi riyals (2,614 million euros), which implies a decrease of 5.7% compared with the 11,579 million (2,773 million euros) achieved in the same interval of 2025, according to the accounts released this Wednesday by the company. In mid-November, the operator plans to distribute 2,741.5 million riyals (656 million euros) as a dividend.

STC, which figures among the main shareholders of Telefónica, brought in 60,096 million riyals in the first three quarters of 2026, 3.7% above the 57,924 million (13,871 million euros) recorded between January and September of the previous fiscal year.

The progress of the telecommunications business in Saudi Arabia, together with the continued improvement in the performance of all its subsidiaries, has been the main driver of this financial evolution.

As for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda), the company reached 19,150 million riyals (4,586 million euros) through September, an increase of 3.5% compared with the 18,497 million (4,429 million euros) accumulated at the close of the same period in 2025.

STC has specified that, in accordance with its shareholder remuneration policy for the three-year cycle started in the fourth quarter of 2024, it will make the payment of interim dividends corresponding to the third quarter of 2026, distributing 0.55 riyals (0.13 euros) per share among its investors.

In total, the disbursement will amount to 2,741.5 million riyals (656 million euros), which will be paid to shareholders next November 19.

The CEO of STC Group, Olayan Mohammed Alwetaid, has underlined the strength of the results obtained in this period.

In addition, he has stressed that the company has continued developing its strategic roadmap, focused on strengthening its key telecommunications and digital services businesses, while at the same time entering segments with growth potential to continue generating value for shareholders.
