The Council of Ministers has given the green light to a modification of the calendar of loans granted to Airbus to carry out the Euromale drone program, with the aim of enabling the Ministry of Industry and Tourism to reschedule these credits, which are integrated into the related qualified industrial defense programs.

This adjustment is due to the accumulated delay from the program, a circumstance that has led Airbus to request a review of the disbursement schedule. Despite this, the modification does not affect the total volume of the loan granted, which remains at 782.8 million euros.

With the new schedule, the company will not receive funds in 2026, a year in which 335.7 million euros were initially planned. Now, payments will be spread across 250 million in 2027, 200 million in 2028, another 200 million in 2029, and 132.8 million in 2030. The previous calendar also included 233 million euros in 2027 and 213 million euros in 2028, and it ended in that same year.
